For Significance Festival 2026, supporters, volunteers, beneficiaries and friends of the charity came together to celebrate another year of the incredible work of Significance. The festival provided an opportunity to thank our generous donors and to share how their contributions have been used throughout the year, highlighting the lives touched and the impact made through the charity's mission.

A special feature of this year's festival was the beautiful grotto dedicated to the charity's founder, Fr Dermott Donnelly. The recently installed statue of the Virgin Mary provided a peaceful focal point, and throughout the day many visitors took the opportunity to step away from the celebrations and enjoy a quiet moment of reflection and prayer in this special space.

Following a Mass celebrated by Bishop Stephen, the festivities continued with a community BBQ and lively ceilidh, alongside raffles, ice cream, and the chance to win the very first Significance bear, affectionately named "Bear Grylls" by Sister Josepha. It was a joyful day of gratitude, fellowship and celebration of all that has been achieved together, while looking forward with hope to the year ahead.
